The Buffkin Group welcome new Partners

The Buffkin Group – a leading global retained search firm and member of Panorama – has named Kristin Luu partner in the firm’s digital practice and to head the firm’s new Chicago office. Rachel Jonkers joins as Associate. 

Kristin Luu is a seasoned executive search professional and has a depth of recruiting experience in both the digital and agency space,” said Craig Buffkin, managing partner of The Buffkin Group. “We are excited to welcome her to The Buffkin Group team as she will add depth and strength in the Digital Practice, one of the highest growth practices in the firm.  She will also open and lead the Chicago office, a city rich in digital and agency opportunities.”

Prior to The Buffkin Group, Luu served as the founding partner at Red Wagon Search. At Red Wagon, Luu performed executive search and consulting for brands such as Razorfish, Interbrand,  BBDO, Periscope, Northwestern University and Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Prior to Red Wagon, Luu served as chief talent officer for Manifest, a national digital marketing agency, reporting directly to the chief executive officer. Her responsibilities at Manifest included executive search, executive coaching, succession planning, talent inventory, talent mapping and Hogan personality assessments. 

Rachel Jonkers will join as an associate working in the New York office with Buffkin Group partners Raj Das and Tom Rosenwald.  She is a graduate of the University of Texas and has most recently been with Percolate, as an Enterprise Development Lead. Prior to Percolate she was the head of recruitment for Dropoff, a start-up company in Austin, Texas.
